Q1: What is joint?

Ans: We are able to bend or rotate our body in place where two parts of our body seem to be joined together these places are called joints.

Q2: Name that joint which allows movement in all directions.

Ans: Ball and socket joint.

Ans: knee joint.

Q4: What is fixed joint?

Ans: Some joints in our head, the bone can’t move such a joint are called fixed joint.

Q5: What is skeleton?

Ans: The bones in our body also form a framework to give a shape to our body. This framework is called skeleton.

Ans: Ribs join the chest bone and the backbone together to form a box . This is called the rib cage.

Ans: Soft bone which can be bent is called cartilage. Ex – ear and sternum.

Q8: What is a ball and socket joit?

Ans: The rounded end of one bone fits into cavity of the other bone. Such a joint allows movements in all directions.
