    (a) 730 + 998

    हल : 730 का सन्निकट मान  = 700

    998 का सन्निकट मान = 1000

    आकलन : =  700 + 1000 = 1700

    (b) 796 - 314

    हल : 796 का सन्निकट मान  = 800

    314 का सन्निकट मान  = 300

    आकलन : = 800 - 300 = 500

    (c) 12,904 + 2,888

    हल :

    12904 का सन्निकट मान = 13000

    2888 का सन्निकट मान = 3000

    आकलन : = 13000 + 3000 = 16000

    (d) 28,292 - 21,496

    हल :

    28,292 का सन्निकट मान = 28000

    21496 का सन्निकट मान = 21000 

    आकलन : 28000 - 21000 = 7000

    Q2. एक मोटेतौर पर (Rough) आकलन (सौ तक सन्निकटन) और एक निकटतम आकलन (दस तक सन्निकटन) दीजिए :

    हल :

    (a) 439 + 334 + 4,317

    हल : 439 का सन्निकट मान = 400 

    334 का सन्निकट मान = 300 

    4317 का सन्निकट मान = 4300

    आकलन =  400 + 300  +  4300 = 5000

    (b) 1,08,734 - 47,599

    हल :

    108734 का सन्निकट मान = 108700

    47599 का सन्निकट मान = 47600

    आकलन  =   108700 -  47600 = 61100

    (c) 8325 - 491

    हल :

    8325 का सन्निकट मान = 8300

    491 का सन्निकट मान = 500

    आकलन =    8300 - 500 = 7800 

    (d) 4,89,348 - 48,365

    हल : 

    489348 का सन्निकट मान = 489300

    48365 का सन्निकट मान = 48400

    आकलन =  489300 -  48400 = 440900  

    Q3. व्यापक नियम का प्रयोग करते हुए, निम्नलिखित गुणनफलों का आकलन कीजिए :

    (a) 578 ×161 

    हल :

    578 का सन्निकट मान = 600 

    161 का सन्निकट मान = 200

    आकलन : =  600 × 200 = 1,20,000

    (b) 5281× 3491

    हल : 5281 का सन्निकट मान = 5300

    3491 का सन्निकट मान = 3500

    आकलन = 5,000  × 3,500 = 1,75,00,000

    (c) 1291  × 592

    हल :

    1291 का सन्निकट मान = 1300

    592 का सन्निकट मान = 600

    आकलन = 1300  × 600 = 7,80,000

    (d) 9250  ×  29 

    हल :

    9250 का सन्निकट मान = 10,000

    29 का सन्निकट मान = 30 

    आकलन = 10,000  ×  30 = 3,00,000
